D-005 What currency is cur in, when the text calls it the "Bid currency"?

What the schemas do

The currency of the deal's money, dealfloor and totalcost, which every buyer's bid on the deal is in.

Options

• deal-money Chosen

  The currency of the deal's money, dealfloor and totalcost, which every buyer's bid on the deal is in.

• bid-only

  The currency a bidder bids in, which says nothing of what dealfloor and totalcost are in.

Why

dealfloor and totalcost are sums of money and name no currency of their own, and cur is the one currency the terms carry, so it is theirs, as OpenRTB writes bidfloor with bidfloorcur. Read as the bid's alone, the deal's money would have no currency at all.

What we ask the specification to state

Say that cur is the currency of dealfloor and totalcost, not only of a bid, as OpenRTB's bidfloorcur is of bidfloor.
